Margaret L. Phillippe

A Memorial Service for Margaret L. Phillippe of Baudette, MN will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 2:00PM at the Church of Living Waters. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the church. Interment will take place at Elm Park Cemetery in Baudette.

Margaret (Peggy) Lee Phillippe was born on May 21, 1949 in Bemidji, MN to John and Dorothy Schauls. She was raised on a farm in Puposky, MN.  After high school Peggy went to Beauty School and lived in Thief River Falls, MN before moving to St. Cloud. While in St. Cloud she met Alan “Flip” Phillippe and moved to Baudette, MN in 2000 where she worked for many years at Holte Implement. Peggy and Alan married on November 11, 2011, she was a wonderful baker and made homemade buns for every holiday and special occasion. Peggy made beautiful quilts for her family, she loved crafts, needle point, gardening, riding her bike and snowmobile. Peggy and Flip enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and spending time with their dogs Eddie and Taffy.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Schauls; sister, Alice Martin.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Jessica Turner) Moreau, Jenny Moreau; grandchildren, Garrett, Ben, Malcolm, Aimee, Dennis, Sophia; siblings, Betty Daniels, Doris Ruud, Richard Schauls; step daughters, Lisa (Joe) Borg, Ashley (Igor) Romansov.
